Sunsweet Prune Layer Cake

Sunsweet Prune Layer Cake is a soft, moist cake filled with prune pieces and layered with creamy frosting — a sweet treat for any celebration!
Ingredients
Cake Ingredients:
- 200 g Sunsweet Amaz!n Prunes
- 225 g butter
- 195 g icing sugar
- 4 eggs
- 225 g cake flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 30 g yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:
- 200 g unsalted butter
- 190 g cream cheese
- 135 g icing sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
Instructions
How to make the cake:
- Beat the butter, salt, vanilla, and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the cake flour, icing sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Then pour in the yogurt and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chopped Sunsweet Amaz!n Prunes using a spatula.
- Divide the batter into 3 cake pans (16 cm) lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for 30 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the pans and let cool to room temperature.
How to make cream cheese frosting:
- Beat the butter, vanilla, and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Soften the cream cheese slightly, then mix it into the butter mixture until combined.
- Decorate the cooled cake as desired.
